What is my paint code for my red Gti?
Also, how much is a can from VW? I need about 10 cans!!! Planning a hardcore weekend.

All flash red GTIs are LP3G
And a can from VW isnt cheap - about £12 a can. It really would be cheaper to get a bodyshop to do it!

The body shop quoted me £125 just to paint my bumper. That's just red paint and lacquer.

Thats pretty good really, plus thatll be an oven cured finish which is a damn sight stronger than DIY paint thats air dryed

My skill are top notch. Last time I painted I burned out my daughters hair dryer.
When I did my rims years ago I put them in my oven at home. Was a 5* finish but the mrs went mad.

Sod it. I will just pay them as I still need to prime mirrors, door handles and spoiler.
