Polo GTi, A53 near Shrewsbury

Spotted: 3-door black GTi, think it was an 'X'-plate, male driver, heading for Shrewsbury and only about a mile up the road from the Battlefields bypass roundabout.
Plus my Mum piped up and reckons she sees the same car most mornings in Shrewsbury town centre at about 8:30am or so, on her way to work.
Anyone..?
