Hi All
Joined a couple of weeks ago but have just collected my new Polo........
Very happy with it, its an automatic and goes really well....
Used to do some 'mods' on my old Corsa B. So will start off slowly, maybe alloy wheels first, rear light cluster has a crack in it so will get one of those soon, some mudflaps, little things to start off with. Will be asking a lot of questions, hope you can all cope!! Oh and I have my 'Haynes' ordered.

Welcome to the forum :)

Lovely ride, I see you've got the personal plates on it already! Is it an 05? Or a really well-taken care of older model? Take a gander at this thread and maybe download the guides available there. It's a great place to start with some simple OEM mods that you can't really go wrong with.

Before you replace the rear light cluster, take a look at the rear lights of the 'Facelifted' model of the same polo, if you prefer them you should get them fitted soon with zero modification apart from a little rearranging of wiring, link below.

Hi Ben
Its a well looked after Nov 02 with full leather interior. Just been serviced and with four new tyres!!
The guides are good reading, will investigate the rear cluster. Tks

Hi Terry!

Fantastic condition car for a 2002 model, nice purchase, and I'm jealous of the full leather interior! Agreed about the lights, theres a guy on here (K.I.T.T.) who makes wiring adapters which means you can use the rear light clusters from the 9n3 as plug&play without having to re-wire at all, a little time-saving modification!

Good luck!

Full leather? Maan i don't think you need to know the spec, sounds pretty top shelf to me! Nice find.

Tks guys.
Have been 'trying' to clean it over the last couple of days........and can not do it!! Its perfect.
Have my eye on 'one' rear rear 9n3 light cluster on 'fleabay', will keep my eyes open for another one.

Haha, looks like you're after something to do. You could get those black bump strips and front and rear lower valances colour coded, saves a fair bit of money on body-kit and looks excellent. I'd like to do mine but the car is black anyway so the difference would be minimal..

Go on then, show us some interior pics :D
