Got news this week from VW on the replacement for my MK6 Golf GTI! Can't wait

rumour has it mate that a simple remap you will easliy see 280! with a new exhaust and some fine setting up you'll be seeing that 300 mark?!

As all mk6 Gtis I mean it's not as special as the mk5 ed30 that was quite different in so many ways

Really like the new golf but don't think its worth 27k, and thats before you put all your bits on it...

Great will have to wait to see what can be gained when it arrives. The ED30 had a detuned S3 lump in it and could get to 300 ish with just a remap.

Yes it had quite a lot of changes over the STD MK5 GTI and was well worth the extra 2k such as half leather, revised body kit painted body colour, 18" wheels and the detuned S3 lump. I will have to see what the exact UK spec of the ED35 is before I buy it.
The pics of the ED35 suggest 18's, revised front spoiler and side skirts, half leather, power increase and possibly Bi-Xenons but not counting my chickens
