Hi all,

Fitting a new clutch cable after mine snapped. its on on the pedal mount, but there is not enough slack to mount the end piece onto the actrual clutch lever on the gb?

Is there a technique to doing this?

Brute force and ignorance IIRC. It helps if someone can push on the gb connection point whilst you heave on the cable and manhandle it into place between you.

hmmm see where you are coming from- but there is at least 2 inches to go

Are you sure you have the correct cable? I did mine recently and didn't find it too hard, certainly wasn't 2 inches short. also Is it adjusted to its longest lenght?

Yeah wrong cable, remembered why i dont go to Euros' !
