Hey guys.
Great to be back on here after i was without a car for a while and mega busy with work. Please forgive me
I used to be on this forum (Alex_White_Gti) with my 9n3 gti. But somehow my account was hacked and being without a car i dwindled into the back ground.
But now im back and ready for tuning

2000 miles covered since purchase in April.....i think shes ready.........

remap booked for wednesday this week. So i will be sharing my views on this.
Good to be back..... enjoy the pics.

Yes mate, H&R springs all round, i think in the end it lowered the rear by 50mm and the front by 35mm
Sits perfect as i dont want to run coilovers on this one.
Will upgrade shocks in near future.

Yes, the stance is just nice as it is, perfect wheel-to-guard ratio, unlike coilovers when people go waaaay too low and tuck the wheel up inside the arch, aside from that, then you destroy the handling also, but that's another story:)
Very nice car, look forward to hearing your reports etc on tuning, over here there are limited local options so when you guys go for the tunes (I've been doing work with Viezu, aka Chipped UK) and seeing as most of them originate over there, I listen with open ears:)

That looks CRACKING!!!
If you open to ideas, we are looking to develop a coilover kit for the 6R, but not necessarily for big lows. I have started another post on the forum and it looks like people are more interested in sensible drops, so that is what we would want to make.
The stance at the moment does look great so I can understand that you don't want to change it.
I know from personal experience* that the damping adjustability is a lifesaver when you are covering loads of miles!
*3000 miles in the last 3 weeks! and all on one of our coilover kits.

I agree overall look is great and could be improved by diamond cutting the front surfaces of the wheels which would still give the contrast with the Red and black of the car but enhance the wheels and bring the finish bang up to date

I actually did a demo wheel with the polished face and didnt like it. Working in the alloy wheel trade for 6 years now and knowing how diamond cut wheels react to our road conditions, i opted against it. It seemed like the vw thing to do at the time. Dont get me wrong, diomond cut wheels look the nuts but come 6 months id be re-painting. Straight black just seemed to work on red but hey i guess this is what opinions are for
Do you have diomond cut wheels then? If so how you getting on?

Yes I have diamond cut Monza Shadows on my Golf GTI MK6 and the car is 21 months old now and the wheels are perfect no White worm on these. Had Diamond cut wheels on the VW before that and no problems either. Had 2 refinished after being kerbed and no problems either. I am going to get the Monza's on my Polo Diamond cut as well but was going to wait until I kerbed them so would need a refinish but not even scratched them yet so will wait a bit longer. You can bet that as soon as I get them done I will kerb them

Oh nice, well im glad someone has had luck with them.
Haha....always the way isnt it.......i know......"crash" your car into a tree and then that surely means you will have to buy a Polo-R?
