I now have some nice, extensive bling bling custom modifications.

All up in my passenger side door.

Some kind person applied them free of charge while I watched, and was proud enough of their work to stick around for me to thank them.

Problem is it's a bit noisy at speed, from the wind, and has taken a few mph off the top speed. How much would an un-blinged one be from a scrappy, about?

There are three doors in my local scrappies, they go for about £20 apiece.

With that as a guide and assuming it's just bolt-off bolt-on (and changing the lock over isn't difficult?) it's definately not worth getting the insurers involved.
