my girl friend put her polo on to full lock and the power steeling just stop working. it has been fine up to this point.

there is a symbol on the dash to say there is a fault. i have check all the fuses and they are all fine.

can anyone help on this one.? can a local garage fix this or is it a main dealer? or even better my self?

Whatever you do, dont go to a main dealer, cause they will rip you off, pretty much simple as that. Almost everyone on this forum will say that to you, unless the car still has warranty, in this case, it doesnt, you will be better off going to either a VW specialist or doing it yourself.

Oh and please dont go to kwikfit, they're just a bunch of monkeys
