Forget about rear speakers any professional audio build will not use them. The optimal set up is just to have a nice sub in the back and then replace the fronts with a nice pair of components. Used to have 6x9s don't miss then since buying a pair of components and a sub

failing that cut a hole in your parcel shelf for some 6 x 9's if you really want them.

IMO 6x9's installed in the parcel shelf look just about as tacky as lexus lights on saxos. However if still want them, I'd suggest a stealth shelf. Basically a thicker shelf, with the 6x9s mounted deeper into the shelf, and theres a black cloth glued on top.

i agree with the tackyness of the parcel shelf.
LOL sub and front speakers are a standard mate.
fronts arent enough it makes it sound very "tweety" kinda like theres too much treble and sounds slightly in your face i am going to get another set put in the rear door panels just dont know what sizes fit.

I don't understand what's funy about that? You asked for an opinion and you got It. A sub isn't "standard" and the original components are rubbish. A "decent" sub and "decent" components all amped will sound much better than putting anything in the back. I've been there and learnt from it mate.

Also it doesn't matter what size you get if it's a 3 door there's no place to outrush so nothing will "fit" they'll end up hidden under the trim if they do fit.

nah i wernt laughing at what you said, opinion taken and appreciated dude its just i already have that installed.... "standard"; expected, obviously, agreed (London talk).
i know it would be hidden, just think it will make the sound more rounded.
Outrush? ...elaborate please dont know what you mean.

No Idea what I meant buddy was auto correct on iPhone xD can't even remember at the end of the day it is all personal preference i don't think there's mounting points in the 3dr in the back so you'd still need to modify the cards to take then so size is irrelevant I think mate

oh right mate. cheers i didnt know i thought that there was some sort of mounting brackets behing the door cards. i just really dont like the idea of cutting into the parcel shelf. i did so in my corsa and just didnt feel right at all.
kinda just wanna keep it looking standard if you know what i mean
