engine power?

hi guys, ive had my 1.4 75 bhp petrol for nearly 4 years and ive never even thought about power upgrades.

obviously its a small n/a engine so nothing amazing can be achieved.

today the bumper was off and the air box etc and i noticed how limiting the air flow of the 75 bhp engine is, in particular the throttle body and the fact there isnt even a direct air intake, the air box seems to just enjoy soaking warm air from the bay.

so basically can you use the 100bhp throttle body?

air intake wise whats the best route? induction kit with some of those s**t hose air things or are people getting better results with the stock air box and a new pannel filter?

Also can you use the air intake from the grill from the 100bhp model

thanks guys

Colder air the better so ensure the filter stay enclosed so a panel filter or a bmc filter that all I can help with here. They don't do much though your best bet is prob a map for £2-300 for 6hp as an exhaust costs about the same and gives you mainly noise

i would go down the panel filter route but the air box on the 75 bhp just seems so restrictive
