Tyres Wearing on Inner Edge

Hey Guys,

Ive got Audi RS8 17" replicas on my dub but the inner edges have worn away! I've had the tyres on there 3-4 months now and do about 250 miles a week.

Just when I had the new tyres I had a dent knocked out of one of the inner rims of the wheels and the wheel balanced fine. Fitted the wheels and had the tracking adjusted with laser tracking. Everything been fine until I noticed that inner edge wear!

Any ideas what could be wrong here? I had an advisory on the MOT saying front suspension bushes worn and im having those fitted this week.

Thanks,

Rhys :)

I'd reckon that even with something like Cupra bushes fitted, with wider tyres comes uneven tyre wear unless some camber reduction is carried out.

Yeah thanks for that i was thinking that due to how fat the tyres are! This maybe whats caused it. But I feel the bushes are a contributing factor as they are worn and knocking slightly at the front. I think ill be throwing the RS8s out and getting 15" Dotz Mugellos! Anyone know if they are good quality? The replica RS8's I been using dent really easy on potholes. Just wanna know if Dotz are real good quality?
