i`m thinking of have my 1.9 tdi pd 100 remapped...can anyone give me any testamonials/recommendations..ie what have you got on yours, whats it like etc..
i`m just on the north side of manchester and awesome gti (which is`nt too far away) will do a revo remap with a claimed 145bhp/225lbft torque which seems reasonable at £299 or celtic tuning will do a claimed 150bhp/257lbft torque at £275.
the prices seem ok but the figures seem a little optimistic to me ...or am i wrong?
can anyone shed any light please ??

I have the same engine and i'm also thinking of having it remapped, please keep us updated regarding... who you use for the remap, performance difference, any pros/cons, etc.
Cheers.

a mate had his pd100 done by celtic and had to take it off as it killed a clutch in no time they'd pushed it a bit too far, hes since had it redone by CCTuning in burton to about 132bhp and about 245lbft which feels great, this only cost £150 as we had 2 cars done at the same time for £300 (normally £200 per map i beleive with a dyno run before and after and the printout)
i took the other halfs GT to be done which had 142bhp and 245lbft standard and was mapped up to 163bhp but a whopping 312lbft and although the bhp figure doesnt seem amazing (but still 21bhp up) that torque is whats its all about on a diesel, thats what pulls you back into the seat and puts a smile on your face
