Just wondering if anyone has blanked it off and does it throw a code??

Funny you say this I have just had an engine light come on... I plugged it in and it's saying "Secondary air injection incorrect flow"
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Me too! its also thrown a maf sensor fault and somthing else cant remember. What is this the pump? Running kinda sluggish as tye turbo kicks in.

I have done this and yes it will throw a code.
Something along the lines of incorrect flow with evap system.
Only way around this is to map it out of the system.

Check the vacuum pipe that connects to the EGR valve. other than that it could be the pump itself

The pump is on the front of the engine to the right. has 2 plastic pipes coming off it one to the air box the other to the EGR valve

I will check the pipe work as the car doesn't seem sluggish to me and surely if the pump itself was gone I'd notice some performance change?...
I cleared the code once and it's returned so really need to sort this out!

Who did this for you?
When I change to my hybrid Bill @ Badger 5 will be doing this for me.
I have some friend that want to do this mod so need to get this mapped out but already have AMD map on their cars?

bill did my car he knows it well spent some hours under the bonnet on the polo

Am i right in saying this warms up the engine initially? Surly it shudnt effect performance when the turbo kiks in besides i dont even hav a cat lol

I stripped clocks and blanked off eml
for this code can't find anyone to map it out
