Just me thats thinkin about prepn for winter wer ment to be getn snow in october up in scotland. What thinkn of doin ma old monzas red any 1 done this n got pics? Also which tyre size will match the diameter of a 195/40/17 for 16s and any 1 recomend reasonable snow tyres?

for 16" u got to put 205/45/16 j6,5 and the best winter tyers are nokian top quality from finland

I run 195, 55 x 16 on my stage 2 polo. 215bhp. Nokian gazalodi are fantastic.

I've got Pirellis for winter tyres. Think they're called SnowControl or something like that.

To be honest, whatever winter tyres you get, they're going to be about a million times better in the snow than summer ones, regardless of how well you can drive in snow. They're unbelievably good.

Ahh cheers guys !probably need a wee spacer on the front to clear my tt brakes ya think? Or does anyone run there standard monzas with big brakes?

Pretty sure Monza's fit over big brakes but would need someone to confirm for sure

If your running 312mm on the front the standard 16" Monzas will fit as you need a 16" minimum but if your running 323mm then you will need 17" minimum! Hope this helps
