Possible Dual Mass Flywheel Failure

I came back from visiting my friend this weeken and covered approximately 600 miles (all in one tank) over the weekend. As I was coming back in to my home town and I put my foot down (above 2000rpm) in 3rd to pull away i then changed in to 4th and then as i went to change in to 5th the car made a grinding noise as I released the clutch I then put the car back in to 4th thinging i lifted the clutch too early and then put it back in to 5th and it went in fine.
Anyway as i came in to the town and slowed down, went to change in to 2nd for the roundabout and as i lifted the clutch pedal it vibrated and made a loud grinding noise. The car seems to pull away fine and pull fine when i accelerate in gear it just seems to make this noise and vibrate the clutch both when I shift down or when I slow down in gear and it gets to low revs. It seems to make a slightly odd noise at idle although it has made this noise on and off over the past 3000 miles or so.
Anyway i'm thinking its the crappy dual mass flywheel as the clutch seems fine (its a bit crap at hill starts but it seems ok) and was wondering how much it will cost to be repaired as im gonna take it in to the garage tomorrow morning.
On another note my engine appears to be moving a lot as at some point over the weekend its moved to much that the engine cover broke off its mount at the top.
Edit: was wondering if its worth going for a solid mass flywheel instead although apparently this increases the vibration through the car, has anyone here done the conversion
By the way its a 1.9TDi PD100 with only 72k and as far as i know the engines standard. Ive only owned the car for 10 months and covered about 9000 miles
