Tax Price

Anyone know how much 6 months tax is on the 1.6 GTI?
I am picking up my GTI tomorrow night and at the moment it has no tax... The guy said he will put 6 months on it for me if I pay him back in cash, bit I have no idea how much 6 months costs.

According to my last tax reminder (June) 6 months costs £118.25
I belive i pay the slightly higher tax band so shouldn't cost any more then that...unless those sneaky b*astards have upped the prices in the last 3 months

Ahh ok, I will take £150 with me just in case haha! The rest can go on petrol to get me home.

Its more than that
Think it cost me £112.75 last time I taxed the GTI but its deffo gone up since then

I got my tax reminder through the other day (It's due at the end of October)
6 months for my Polo is £104.50

Presumably the AVY engines have cheaper tax

GTi's registered after March are cheaper - Not sure if that's when the AVY engines came into production?
