UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Wifeys polo gti has the posh air con controll unit but its mounted right at the bottom of the dash making it hard to adjust without taking your eyes off the road.

Has anyone moved the unit to the space directly under the radio ?

I havent measured it up yet so I suspect some cutting would be involved + it may be more than just wiring that needs moving.

This is probably be going to be a pita to do but I'd be intrested to know if it has been done before.

Not that im aware of.

To be honest ive never heard anyone thats found the origional location a nuisance.

Id personally leave it where it is,theres quite afew controls on the panel you're always going to have to glimpse off the road to check the correct setting.
