I have attended shows with a bit of attention, as anyone will tell you it’s been looked after and cared for and only the best has been used as you will see with the specs. It’s been my pride and joy and I’ve always driven it carefully.

SERVING/REPAIRS/History
Service history is completed by VW up till around 70000 miles, it was a rip off, and gave it a VW specialist privately (can provide receipts and history with MOTs ETC), and for the past 3 years do all the work myself since it’s a pee job! Filters, oil changes, plugs, HT leads can provide a library of receipts etc.
Had the gearbox replaced and while the box was out, clutch replaced with a sachh kit, also had the throttle body replaced for perfect throttling. Temperature sensor was also replaced to stop crappy idling all carried out on the 27/05/2011.
I’m am very thorough person when it comes to receipts, and document EVERYTHING! Have the complete original owners manual, service manual, supplementary service manual , assistance in Europe booklet , technical manual, and even the welcome card. I have an extensive history for MOTS with passes, advisories and failures, Large collection of tax renewal notices, ebay invoices for items i have bought for the car, wheel alignment invoices. Invoices for windscreen replacements for its entire life span, and miscellaneous invoices from GSF,VW, tyres changes and many many other receipts.
. Definitely nippy and incredibly smooth running! It’s been well looked after.
BAD POINTS
Like every car over 10 years old there’s going to be a few bad points. These few problems can be solved easily by someone who has a bit more time
Drilled the air box when I was a little one, never bothered to replace it, doesn’t make a difference whatsoever.
Central locking pump went kaput about a month ago, but I’ve been lazy and no-one gets in the car apart from me so never bothered me, but if I have time to go get another pump I’ll chuck it in for free.
Slight scratch on passenger side door, but can easily come out.
It’s a 1.6 AEE, and is gaging for mods like valver throttle body, valver injectors, gt cam plus 4 branch manifold with a straight through decat exhaust which you can pick up cheaply here now would give you considerable gains!

it’s been amazing and has treated the whole family so well over the years. I’ve never had any major problems with the car and it runs lovely. Its known across a few forums and I have recently found it popping up all over blogs which is pretty cool but I’ll leave it to the new owner to take it to the next level and get the magazine features which I’ve been asked about, air ride, engine swap, audio, more bodywork anything really, or leave everything as is and run as a cheap dub!

I'm after £3670 FIRM as it stands now, wheels, interior, audio everything
OR
£2670 without the wheels, instead it will be on valver alloys and you can make the car your own.
If this is the case the wheels, bolts and everything will be up for sale separately but they will be up for more than £1000!
