Light problem...

....here we go again. Got one problem cured and another arrives.
Lad at work alerted me that I had a passenger side rear light out. Put a new bulb in....and its not the bulb. I later noticed myself that I also have a bulb out on the front...same side. Thought it may be a fuse, but they seem to be in order. Would a bulb being out on the front affect the rear, if its on the same side....ie....are they on the same circuit?
Think I'll need to disconnect and remove my battery to get the bulb on the front out....these Polo's are a ball ache at times!
