I was owner 2 on my last gti. A lady had it first.
Only 2 people had it before the scrap yard..

I think By memory the original owner of my GTI didnt keep it long at all, a year I think, but the second owner had him the majority of his 11 years.
There's an elderly couple I see driving around often, with a 6n Polo, I've actually stopped and talked to them about it before. It's got Every optional extra, as it was a demo car, They are the first and only owner of it and it's mint. Any 6n Lover would die for it

I've seen a couple for sale recently, either on eBay or AutoTrader. They're usually low miles and very expensive.
Although saying that, around half the Polo GTIs I've seen seem to be low mileage. I bought my almost 70,000-miler back in September (anyone know how to prise the grille clips out) and there has been a 50,000-miler and also one that's done just 30,000 since then.
Well done, though! My other Polo, a '94 GT coupé has been owned by me for 13 years, although has to go unfortunately due to lack of space and non-driving.

Wow!! thats great i am on my 2nd Polo GTI i owned my last one for just 4 months untill some stupid woman drove into the back of me at 50MPH while i was in traffic moving at 15mph nearlly went underneath a combine harvester! did £6000 of damage to it so now in the scrap yard
I loved it so much in the 4 months of driving it i have now got another one and i really have to say this is my favourate car i have owned by miles hope to keep it for a long time.
