I drive a 16 mile urban run each day to work and back... I'm getting 39.134 miles per gallon, which I consider pretty good compared to my last car.
It would be better if it were motorway driving I'm sure.
Well pleased

I am currently getting 265 miles before my petrol light comes on.
That's driving around the peak district, on a lot of twisty / steap B Roads.
Anyone else?
Miles on a tank

I got 356 miles from my tank full... I did really fill it up though

I worked it out on when the reserve light came on again to get the mpg - it's pretty accurate that way. And, I don't really take it above 3500 revs at the moment - too many winding lanes to negotiate with on-coming articulated lorries!

My fuel light comes on at about 280-290 and i usually fill her up at about 300-320. I live In Sheffield and Work in Doncaster so do about 75-80% motorway driving but i don't exactly drive at 70mph so i'm very happy with the mileage i get to a tank.
I use normal unleaded with a tank of optimax every 3 or 4 tankfulls.
Cheers
Dave.

The car takes roughly 32 quid to fill her up to the brim and i usually get about 320 miles to almost dry. Its works out to about 10p a mile whilst using mix driving styles e.g canning it or just cruising in the sun. Im pleased with the petrol consumption.

the last 5 or so full tanks of petrol i've gotten about 300 miles to, and thats just before the petrol light comes on. The best bit is its not exactly economical driving either, usually b roads and a bit of town driving where I regularly use all of the polo's power
