Well, eventually i got one. I only ordered 2x brand new, tried to buy the one that SteveP bought, owned a Clio 200 and a Fiat 500 in between. And now im finally back, in a car i wanted since the start.

Really hope i dont have oil consumption or misfire issues. My car is a June 2011 build. So will not have the updated internals or block design. Need to get some of the NGK plugs on order asap.

Specification:
Candy White 3dr
Sensor Pack
Winter Pack
Convenience Pack
RCD510 with 6CD Autochanger
Multifunction Steering Wheel
Tinted Rear Glass
Dealer Fitted Fiscon Bluetooth

So it has a great spec really, and the only things i would have wanted in addition to these were climate control (air con is sufficient i suppose) and Xenons. Which may get retrofitted.

Only have the dealer pics at the moment. :D

They are pretty cheap from the dealers. I already have winter pack, so headlight washers are in place. Then its just levellers, which Hurdy assures me is easy! ;)

Well, lots has changed so far. Mostly, a collection of parts that has been growing.

-Porsche Boxster Front Brakes - Powder Coated White
-312mm Mk4 Golf GTI 180 Discs
-HEL Brake Lines
-Dave Brown Custom Brake Brackets - Alloy, very swish
-312mm Splash Shields
-New Brembo Brake Pads
-SuperPro Lower Engine Steady Bush - Race/Track
-H&R Lowering Springs - 35/55 (25/40 GTI)
-Gulfstream Footrest

Most are awaiting installation on the 10th March, however, here is a pic of the foot rest fitted.

Nice car Deako!

May I in a completely friendly way suggest you also increase the braking performance at the rear of your car also because you have just drastically altered the braking balance of your car towards the front. I did have a chart somewhere which showed the braking performance and ratios front to rear, god knows where it is though......

I havent done anything yet! ;) They are being fitted on the 10th March.

Believe it or not, this isnt the first car i have modified however. 8) But take a look at Hurdys running 6 pots on the front and standard rear brakes too.

However, well aware i need to balance the rears up, and a 284mm rear vented setup is on the cards. However, it wont be for a few months, as im a little skint and it needs some R&D by the main man Dave Brown who is a braking legend.

When i got home from work today, i treated the car to a little clean.

Jet Wash rinse down.
Wheels and sills sprayed down with bilberry.
Snow foamed.
Washed with Auto finesse lather.
Paint cleansed with Auto finesses rejuvinate.
Sealed up with Menzerna power lock.
Wheels sealed with poorboys.
Tyres and trim treated with cheamical guys new look trim gel.
Exhaust polished with Optimum metal polish.

Didnt have time to vac or clean glass. It was practically dark when i finished.
