Motor for an electric window ?

Hi first post so hope this is right? I have a X REG 1.6 POLO GTI, and a few weeks ago my drivers elecrtic window stopped working, as i don't know much about cars and my friend does, he took off my door panel and after checking everything over (i.e) fuses etc, he detected that the problem i've got is that i need a new motor, his friend also had a look and confirmed that i need a new motor.
After fruitless searching at my local car wreckers and on ebay i am struggling to find one, any ideas where i can find one and how much am i looking to pay?
