ahhh mate bet your gutted . both cars are top notch .. the gti wont disappoint you tho.

revo stage one is good for 210bhp.. just get a panel filter or a cone and a forge 007/008p diverter valve + seat leon 160pd intake

i have 20 mm springs but if i was you id get 35mm H&R srings or go for coilovers ill be changing to get some ap coilovers soon

a white line rear anti roll bar is always good too

2) whats the ride like with either springs or coilovers fitted? i.e. is the ride to bouncy or stiff?

3) has anyone fitted a mk5 golf gti gear stick to there gti if its even possible

4) is it possible to get the cup edition body kit from our dealers or do we have to get it from somewhere abroad?

and finally 5) are there any common faults or issues that i should look out for on the 9n3's?

thanks in advance for the answers and am looking forward to looking around the fourm and collecting all your knowledge and advice :D
To go stage one you don't need to do anything. You can it it straight away if you wish.
Can't comment on springs but everyone including me will say get coilovers I find the ride fine with my fk's.
I have fitted an edition 30 gear knob so yes it can be done. Yes you get get the cup kit from the dealers but be warned it isn't cheap and also you have to factor it the cost to paint it. Common fault is the syncro going on second gear 06 and 56 seem to suffer from this. Hope you enjoy your polo as much asthenosphere rest of us on here. Feel free to have a look through my build thread Black polo gti 6speed

Tbh for the price i don't know if its worth getting pd 160, there is one going on ebay for 83 quid  . the stealers have probably realised they can make a quick buck of this and probably charge about that aswell. I'd keep your money and put it towards a remap
