Looking at getting a polo GTI and it's already been mapped. I've just read somewhere that it would be advisable to get a 007 recirc valve, leon intake, and new filter before getting a stage 1 remap. My question is, if the car has already been remapped would I be ok to fit these after the map or would I need to get it done again to allow for these new parts fitted? Excuse the noob question!

I put my 007p on after the remap it's fine . You thought about a 008p. That's the new one

i did 007p recirc, k and n panel filter, and forge tip before remap, but i think they only advise on uprated DV and panel filter you don't specifically need them, installing them after a map can only help it out more

Yeah I had a pipercross panel filter on when it was mapped then put the 007p on after

Then i added a cone filter to get the wusshhh sound out of the 007p

Most stage one maps, Revo + APR ect are all of the same no matter what parts you got on

It wont make any difference if you fit the parts before or after unless the map is custom, not an "out of the box" one like Revo or APR stage 1

anyone doing the apr remap in the midlands?

Thanks for the replies, didn't want the car to start acting up if I started putting different parts on after a remap.
