Hiya guys
When I was coming home tonight the bulb warning light came on the display, and when I indicated left the relay and the dash indicator flashed fast yet the exterior bulbs were at normal speed. When I got home I set the indicator to left flash and all the left exterior bulbs work yet the dash was fast, I then indicated right and everything normal. So then I turned the ignition off waited and then re-started the engine I indicated left and everything normal and no bulb warning. Do you think it may of been a glitch?

i would get some one to run a vag com to be safe

Mine did the same once mate. It turned out I did infact have a bulb out though

Get it vag commed could be the relay.

If you've got access to vagcom, then scan it. If not, I'd leave it and see if it happens again. It was probably just a glitch and will never happen again, but if it does then get it checked out by dealers or someone with access to VCDS.

it happend to me mate take ur left front indicator out spray WD40 or other penny oil on it put it back in and it never happends again

Have you installed any new bulbs? Dodgy LEDs can cause this kind of problem.

Got philips silver vision indicator bulbs in so they should be ok as they are not cheap e bay jobbies, i have led numberplate lamps and they are working ok. Just that indicator glitch. Not done it since so fingers crossed.

Well while driving home tonight my indicators did it again fast flash on the dash on left turn but the lights flash at normal rate only does it on left side. I had the bulb warning light on, i parked up at home turned the ignition off then back on and everything back to normal.

Am sure if it flashes quickly it means a bulb is out?

All bulbs are working correct

I had this aswell but not with indicator was just light on dash checked all were working turned off an back on and it went away

Think it maybe a glitch from time to time. After all with all new cars having canbus it is all 1s and 0s binnery coding you only need a 1 when a 0 should be there and it's confusion central
