This is really bugging me as i bought reflex silver for my gti butttttt some people say that it is satin silver :s but vw say they only did them in one colour which was reflex. I sprayed my front bumper reflex silver and it is miles out compared to the rest ?

If you've got the sticker in the wheel well is should list paint code which you can then look up.

I think VW had a couple of different shades of one of the silvers with the same name.

My mates gti is satin silver. It's a W reg and is deffinatly yellow compared to my blueish/purplish paint. As already mentioned you can find the code in your wheel well. But also your service book, as well as looking your VIN number up at VW

Reflex is LA7W should be something like (off the top of my head)
And satin is LB7Z or something like that. - but don't hold me to it

Thanks verity iv sprayed the front and it just looks to blue I'm going to respray it as I have a day off so a trip to the paint shop to see what they say I hate imperfections especially after taking the time to take it all apart day off work for this so it better work out haha

Faded/peeling lacquer red is the way forward Philip and you know it

Verity hit the nail on the head,they did actually produce the silvers in two silver colours.Mine is a Satin Silver.
