Mk3 facelift gearbox question

Hey Guys,
Ive just become the new owner of a mk3 face lift polo X reg 1.4L 75bhp (sport? aparently)
im on the hunt for a new gearbox for it coz the current one has failed however im wondering what will fit directly too it?
will the 1.4L CL polo non facelift gearbox fit?
also does anyone know the model of gearbox i should be searching for on ebay or piston heads etc - i have been told there is many models of gearbox for this one model of car :S
