Colour Coding

Hi, I'm a new user here and own a 2002 Silver Polo 9N, it is my pride and joy and has been since passing my test 4 months ago, i think they are great looking cars but mine has the black rub strips around the body work, does anyone know how i can change these to be the same colour as the body colour? any help would be appreciated

1. Identinfy colour code from sticker in boot or owners guide.
2. Remove and finely sand the black plastic trim.
3. Primer
4. Paint
5. Lacqeur
6. Allow drying time
7. Fit
This is providing you are hapy with you skills with a can and dont mind a bit of labour, If not get someone to do it for you, wont cost much.
