Hi,
I have a 2003 Polo sport, it is fitted with the standard vw 6 cd changer situated below the gamma radio/cassette player.

The cd changer was working perfectly until recently but today i tried to play a cd, the display showed that the cd was selected and track 1 was showing (all ok so far) but it just 'hung' there and didnt actually play, and after a short time the display then changes to an 'Error' message.........i ejected all 6 cd's and then re-installed them and i've also tried disconnecting the battery for a while hoping the changer would 'reset' but i still get the same problem.

My question is, is there a 'reset' for the cd changer?.......or any ideas?

Took it out from the dash and removed the top cover off the player, decided there wasnt anything i could do and put it back together ........it now works perfectly!

mine did this the other day aswell, i just changed discs until it played still does it now and again tho
