UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Currently driving a 1.2 Corsa C, as it was my first car, but now looking to upgrade to a polo 9n/9n3, and preferably a diesel, but looking at the 1.9's, I've seen they are available as either PD100 or PD130. I was just looking for some advice as to which one is better really, and as I've seen, the 130 does seem a bit rarer. Any comments/opinions will be greatly appreciated

The 130 is an excellent engine and can be tuned really easily. Just a remap and air filter is required to get 180-190 bhp and up to 300lbft

It's also very efficient; even with a remap, I was getting 57mpg on a motorway run.
