Hi guys i recently bought a polo 6n2 gti and its immaculate apart from the gutters on the roof are suffering from bubbling and laquer peel is this a common fault on the polo 6n2 gti? I was told that the gutters used are alluminium and they rust or deterioate. Are they hard taken off as im going to respray them.

anyone know how to take them off without doing damage?

They are pretty easy to take off, use a screwdriver with a cloth wrapped around it (or something similar) and ease the gutter strip off at one end. Once you've got it started you can then start to pull it off, take your time and just wiggle it a bit. They're just little clips that hold it on. 8 or so.

Yeah really easy to take off mine have got bad peel too (red) gone all pink and horrible. Ive been driving round without them!
