Got in a little bump other day with a concrete post in a carpark! I will post pictures on later, basically its just dinted the wing and bumper in and its realy annoying! it was catching on the door at first but thats gone now after giving it a wack! been quoted £180 for them to fix it they will pull it out so its aligned and respray it etc filler... or £350 for new parts from a garage.. new wing and new bumper etc. Although going through scrap yards i can find a wing for £40 think it's worth doing my self? I may have snapped the clips on the bumper but im sure they could be bodged somehow! :) what you think, anyone know how to remove it? :) thanks!

Avoid trying to fit pattern parts. They never ever fit properly. Far better off getting ones off a scrapper!

Ring some breakers and see if there're any in the right colour. I'd expect 2-300 for bumper and wing paint. Again, go round some local bodyshops WHERE YOU CAN LOOK AT THEIR WORK(!) and get prices from the ones you're happy with the work of. If you're not happy with what you see, walk away!

Bumper off first (grill off to access innermost bolts) dead easy - just time - just be careful not to scrape it round the wings at the moment it comes loose (2nd pair of hands handy if you're not confident!)

I've never had a wing off a 9n, but it looks like the wing's just lots of bolts. Plastic arch liners off, then along the bonnet shut, [presumably] behind the side of the bumper, then something down near the bottom at the back ... I'd expect that one to be a bit of a wangle! (though the wing'll flex out which may help access.)
