Got my bumpers back!

After 2 weeks I finally got my bumpers back. They look really nice. There is however a small problem. The bodyshop has left runs in the bumpers. The runs are worse on the front than the rear. What should I do? Ring the bodyshop up, and say I'm not happy with the work, and take the bumpers back to them for correction? Or will some 1200 grade wet and dry do the trick (since T-cut isn't working), with a can of alpine white on standby?
Heres the picks anyway:
I also meshed the lower vent, but my cam phone won't show that off. Its also the reason for the bluey colour of the pics.
Thanks.

Take them straight back mate. If you're not happy with the work then you shouldn't have accepted them. Say that you want the work correcting. They're a bodyshop they can sand it back and respray the damage. Don't let your guard down.

I agree, you've paid for a good job not a crap one, take them back and don't let them give you any less than 100% happy.

I like how they left the top bit of the plate recess black!

Front bumper has been sent back. They were more than happy to sort it out. They asked me whether I wanted to have the number plate recess like that, and I said yes, as my thinking was it wasn't going to be seen. Suppose I coulda asked to have it all done when I sent it back, but the overall look of the job, I was happy with. Colour matched well though.

You would be really suprised how well they match up. The car hadn't seen any polish before I got it, and didn't have a shine. Now with the bumpers done, it just goes to show how well the paint came up.
I just have to work on the front end. Get a badgeless grille, clear indicators, clear side repeaters, a light brow, and some fogs to sit just above the vent, but below the plate.

All sounds good m8. Did you manage 2 get your interior bits dun?

Haven't touched the interior yet. Had the plastic surround off that covers the heater switches, just to try and get it off. Was no problem. maybe later this month. I have quite a bit going on with the car. I have some BBS RA's to come from Nottingham. A GT dash to come frm Huddersfield, and I wouldn't mind getting the front sorted either lol.

Dude, sweet

Don't let what looks like a cool mod be ruined by shoddy workmanship - go camp out in their reception area wearing a protest shirt til it comes back looking like it was *made* that way

Gonna leave the middle strip black, or putting chrome, red, other in there?
I'd love to get mine done like that now, but what with the recent rash of peeps doing it I'm afraid that it might look a bit mindless and bandwagon. (Aw what am I saying.. it'd still rock)

I wouldn't worry about that, it's not like it's only just been invented

It's a very effective little mod.. I did it to my rear bumper last week, very happy with it

I'd just go for it if you like the look of it.

but your bumper is a one-piece...
or do you mean you colour coded the whole thing?

Nope, masked off the top half, sprayed the bottom. There's a very handy crease half way down the bumper which I sprayed up to, it's good at hiding any little imperfections around the edge of the paintwork
It used to be like this:
I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out.. but just keeping my fingers crossed that the paint takes to the plastic properly

Since I managed to correct the rear bumper myself using a lotta T-cut, I managed to put a red strip on it. I really would have liked to have gone with a chrome strip, but A) I don't know how you come across them, and B) A red strip seems to be different at the moment.
Thanks.

You can get red or chrome trimming to fit in your bumper from Halfords. The red is about a fiver but the chrome is a bit more, its £20 you get 10 meters and its made by 3M
