Today I went to do a brake down at work and thought it would be a good idea to take my car instead of the van because the roads where nice ..... I raced a vectra Sri. Then a Subaru ... Then a A4 ..... Then my car started making a horrible noise sounded like a tank but wasn't miss firing . So I got the rac out he looked but couldent see what was wrong waste of time he wouldn't tow it So I drove home and it sounds fu#ked . My friend says the turbo seals mite have blown or gasket from turbo to down pipe ..... Off to garage tomorrow for a check ...... If its knackered I hope to rebuild fingers crossed

Is it mapped? I'm not sure if it matters tho, just curious.

Check your manifold bolts! Common for these to come lose causes loss of power and makes it sound like s**t! Happened on mine twice. Luckily mine was just bolt them tighter job and this was about a year ago now!

yeah its mapped revo stage one , forge dv .. cone filter , decat exhaust system

Any warning lights up?... oil pressure ok?

Engine management is always on because of decat Getting it mapped out soon hopefully . Oils okay . Apparently my forge dv is faulty that's why it sounded so. Bad

Check for a split in the hose that runs to the fb! Friends tt same happened! He got loads of turbo chatter and no power!

thanks alex i will do maybe i should change all my hoses for new ones plus it would smarten the bay up

This happened to mine, DV vacuum hose split, lost all turbo power and just got loads of turbo chatter rarther than the standard "ptshhhhh"

Think that was my problem. And the other noise was the plastic engine guard tray it was loose and flapping around
