Joycey gti, NEW UPDATE BEEN A WHILE

I'll start by saying hello to every one, my name is ben and ive owned my 6n2 gti in reflex silver for about 18 months now, ive been on here for a little bit and just havent had the time to start a thread.
so here goes.
i'll get a couple of pics up now and the rest up tomorrow

this is pretty much how she stood when i first got her minus the bonnet bra looks a fair bit different now though, more pics to follow

right then here we go, i'll upload each picture seperatley to get my posts up lol.

I started by sorting out a couple of things with car that bugged me a bit starting with the yellow headlights.

i started with 600 wet dry paper with soapy water and worked my way up to 2000 changing direction each time i changed grade and finished them off with some t-cut scratch remover and some marine finishing compound on a machine polisher from someone i know that works on yachts, it came out better than i expected.

next i decided to upgrade my bulbs from the standard 6000k to 10000k.

The lip on my rx2's was looking a bit tired so i had a go at polishing them up without splitting the rims this was the outcome

Unfortunately i didn't manage to get any pics of the wheels back on and i only got two done because of how much of a ball ache it was, but i'd had my eye on some shiny new summer wheels for a while so i went and made a small credit card purchase :)

Yeh i know what you mean i dont mind them i just liked that bit more blue lol but like you said each to their own :)

Now i needed some stretch to keep that tread under the arch so i got straight on the internet and ordered some nankangs
165/50/15 for the 8's on the front
