UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

Hi guys,

I have a mark 4 2003 1.2 litre VW Polo which I want to install an amp and speaker into. I know how to install everything except the power cable and I cant seem to find any access from under the bonnet to the interior of the car. I have looked at many forums and websites which are suggesting to pass a cable through the grommet and have seen illustrated pictures for the method. However I cannot seem to find a grommet at all in the engine bay. If I could help it, i rather not drill a hole through the firewall. Any suggestions for finding a grommet or any access to pass through to the interior of the car would be great!!

if u go from behind the glove box there are a load of cables inside sum rubber tubing or some sort, all i did was just cut a small hole into the tubing and feel the power cable thru....
mines an 01 polo tho but i reckon should be the same...
