Milltek hanging high??

Finally got the Milltek on my lill gti ^^
However, it is touching the "cover plastic" at the back. Like, the exhaust tips are lifted too high. Anyone got a fix on this??

I believe they are supposed to fit really close in order to look oem. Maybe give it a day to settle and it may drop a little bit?

Actually, it's been on a couple of days now, and it just went further up. I believe it's pretty much in contact with the plastic cover above it.
The thing I'm worried about is it it's hot enough to melt/ set it on fire?

Definately gets hot enough to melt the rear valance, mine has melted, I just trimmed the melted bits off woth a craft knife.
