You need H7 kit..

I got mine off eBay (china) £25 slim ballast with 6000k bulbs (slightly blue) took two weeks to come but a year later there still going strong

This place seems good http://www.hids4u.co.uk/hidkits.php
But I got mine from here http://www.xenons-r-us.com./online-shop.html They are good quality and cheap and I passed my MOT with them in so all is good. I got 6k ones as they are the closest light to sunlight apparently but im very happy with them.

I also got from this shop LED number plate lights, LED interior and boot lights (VERY good and useful), LED side lights and LED fog lights :) They all work and are amazing :)

8k would be fine, they would have a slight blue tint to them. I just went with 6k because Its imo more practical.

It's peoples opinions, give the guy a break! If he wants to fit them, let him. Just because it isn't to your taste. Ive personally got them and had them on my previous car too and as long as they're 6ks and set up properly, they're a lot better than standard. And before anyone says they're illegal, mine went through mot no problems a few weeks back!

As for the ruining his gti comment, being a individual is better than being a sheep

Personally I would go with a h7r bulb in 4300k as they are designed for reflecter headlight and they are a whiter light - imo the blue looks a little naff. Just my opinion.

Have you ever had a 9n3 with HIDs in stock headlamps driving towards you? Either retrofit projector lenses and do it properly or get some decent halogen bulbs.

Ive had mine in for about 4 months and ive not once had anyone flash me or anything to say mine are blinding them. Also they passed my MOT so they are in the correct light beam pattern...
