There's a hugely interesting article here at Autobild. (Along with associated gallery).
Basically, the chrome grille and circle-in-oblong headlights of Concept C are to become the new corporate image.
Throws more weight behind this:
sort of style for the Spring facelift of the Polo.
Also the article summarises the forthcoming updates and introductions:
Jan 05: Bora unveiled
Feb 05: "Golf Plus" introduced (MK5 "with a high roofline")
Mar 05: Passat - possibly introduced, or maybe just unveiled - the translation's not clear. Other sources have said "introduced in the spring"
April 05: Polo facelift? << note the question mark!!
May 05: Lupo replaced [with Tupi]
Sept 05: Bora replacement starts to be sold
Sept 05: Beetle facelift
Sept 05: MK5 Golf R32 starts to be sold
Sept 05: Passat "variant" [unveiled] << haven't a clue what this is - the estate, perhaps?
Oct 05: Passat "variant" starts to be sold
Dec 05: Concept C production version unveiled
