I thought it was about time I got a bit of a project thread going on here, I have had the car since June last year, I never thought it would be this addictive! Loved the potenital it has so done the following over the past year and a bit!

So here’s a list of mods I have done so far and the order I did them in:
Chassis/brakes:
-Cupra bushes
-Front Cupra Strut brace
-Rear whiteline anti-rollbar.
-Weitec hicon coilovers
-312mm front brake set up from a mk4 gti

Engine:
-Forge 008 Diverter
-Forge Tip
-K&N cone filter purely for the sound
-Milltek Full turbo-back exhaust
-Custom stage 1.5 R-tech remap
Results were 212 BHP and 264lft

Other:
-4k Hid's
-Roof painted Gloss black
-Mk5 gti flat bottom steering wheel
-Cruise control
- Genuine Porsche Twist’s Recently bought and haven’t been on the car long!


Things I plan to do:
-Respray front end due to stone chips!
-Honey comb Grills
-Double din headunit
-Front mount intercooler to push a little more boost without worrying about temp increases
-6 speed gearbox either when my own decides to give up or sooner!

Did a few little bits first induction and strut brace:





Then wanted to beef up the brakes as the standard ones are not up to the job!




Then took a trip to Modden9n for some cruise control

Then came the lows!




Shortly after got some Genuine porsche twists for the summer just gone!











Wasnt happy with the colour of the twists so had them sprayed Candy White, but dad dropped on the day i got them back havent got round to getting it sprayed again so no pics with them on the car

Im probably a bit bias as I have a White GTi with porsche twists but like it!

Where do you plan to end up with the car or dont you know yet?

Love it mate, did want a white one but couldn't find one, and love the twists too, real nice gti here

Intercooler is on the list but dont want to go for the forge! i want the cupra setup


Do need to get these Porsche twists back on though, what with winter coming up to think they my get ruined!

Not much to update at the moment! Just brought a set of genuine 312mm discs and pads for the stealers so no mods for now!

I miss polos Got a new shape focus RS which is sick but build quality is ... Might come back to a GTI or a rocco R :S decisions decisions...

Rocco R is a damn sexy car

Been a bit quiet on here done a few little things recently nothing special or particularly interesting! Still costs money though!


-Brand new set of 312mm discs and pads from vw.

-Oil change again this week every 4k is taking its toll

-New set of sparks heard lots of od things about these so thought i would give them a go there the NGK BKR7E so interested to see if there any better!

-Two new Uniroyal Rainsport 2's, i recommend anyone who hasnt tried these to give them a go! by far the best road tyre i have used and best of all they are on special offer for £62 on camskill ussually RRP £80 each

-Also decided to put adjustes in the rear and lift the front by 10mm, now left with the back not sitting quite low enough! Hmmm desicions on what to do.. this is how it sit with the adjusters in, what do you guys think?







It rides a lot better and handles far better at this height though! enjoying th car again
