thermostat

I need a new thermostat for my 6n2 gti 2001.does anyone know the part number I need from gsf? vw want £98.05 inc vat!!
or if anyone else knows of anywhere else I can get one from as my searches seem to offer conflicting results

A thermostat for £98.05 - are they having a laugh!?
I think they have quoted for the wrong part.
032121110C is the part number. I can see it is about £20ish
You will need a new rubber O-Ring too, but not knowing your registration I cant tell you which youll need
Its likely to be 032121119J

Thermostat was around 12 quid when i bought one.

got a new thermostat for £15 in the end.
Now the only problem is changing it!
Any advice or help?
I don't even know where it is!!

It's in the housing where the top radiator pipe leads to on the engine side. Two bolts
It's located inside the removable piece where the bottom radiator hose goes into.
