porsche twist alloys on polo 9n HELP

Hi there i'm new to this forum, i have just bought a set of original porsche twist alloys 17", the rim width size's are front 7 and rear is 8.5, the offset is 55&50.
has anyone here put them on there polo and what size adaptors and tyres will i need?

I used to run 17x7.5 ET 53 and 17x9 ET 47 with 20mm adapters.

Fronts were tucked and rears poked a bit

I'll bump my build thread so you can see how they sat.

so 20mm adapter should be fine then? was there and rubbing or grinding and was the clearance ok?

and also any idea what tyre sizes i will need?

i was thinking of puting 205/40/17 on the front but what about the rears as they are 8.5" wide?

Couldn't have rear seat passengers or a full tank of petrol as it would rub haha

I'd fit 205's all round or 195's if your after a bit stretch.

On coilovers, was as low as it would go with adjusters in

did you use the vw polo wheel bolts on the porsche twists?

I ran 25mm adaptors on the front.
And 20mm on the rear.
Sat pretty well.







But dont have fat chicks in your car...

yours looks sweet mate, I ordered a set of 25mm adapters all round which should arrive on wednesday just hope they are not gonna poke out too much on the back, so far ive just had my alloys sandblasted and refurb smoked chrome, adapters are on there way, then i gotta buy tyres and coilovers
