Hey Guys,

Posted this a while ago as a new member. Haven't had any problems with it, aside from the USB and AUX failing to work in the glovebox. Took it into VW and apparently both of the cables aren't connected to anything!

As you can see, my window's are reasonably tinted. This hadn't been a problem until yesterday when I was pulled over and stung with a ticket! I've been asked to remove the tints from the driver and passenger windows as supposedly you can only tint to 30%.. not 90.

Are the police allowed to pull you over just for tints? I've heard that they aren't allowed to unless you've committed another offence (such as speeding) first before sticking you for the windows on top. Any ideas on this? Has this happened to anyone else?

What are you trying to connect? Some devices aren't supported. Nice looking motor though and welcome!

Technically white isn't a color... But yeah, the 6R looks good in white.

IF you really want to get technical then his polo is a combination of colours....so you should really say....

What do you mean your USB and AUX aren't working? is it displaying any errors when you plug a device in? Also what are you trying to plug in? I had two cables given to me by VW, one for iPhone/iPod and one for USB (external hhd etc).

The only thing that doesn't work on mine is iphone 5 but just means use aux without mdi plugged in as it causes a conflict because its not yet supported.

I never knew that. I'm due an upgrade in April and was going to get the iPhone 5. Will it eventually work?

I have an iPhone 5, and in my Edition 30 with MDI, using the VW MDI iPod adapter with the Apple 30pin to lighting cable it works just fine. Charges and controls as it should

I've just been using my apple cable (normal charger wire) straight through but may try the adapter and hopefully should work good thinking batman!

Nice looking motor dude! Mine's exactly the same but with standard Boavistas! Get some more pictures up quick sharp!!
