Hey there could anyone please advise me as to what bulbs i will need for my Polo Gti 2010 6R

I want to change the folllowing

Front fogs
Sidelights
Main/Dipped beam
Interior Bulbs
Number plate lights

Any help would be appreciated.

good thread to start

- Front fogs = H8/H11 Bulbs (LEDs must be CANBUS)
- Sidelights Front and Rear = W5W/501/T10 (LEDs must be CANBUS)
- Main/Dipped beam = Both are H7's
- Interior Bulbs = Sun visors and Rear interior lights are 36mm Festoons
Front dome lights, interior boot light and footwell lights are W5W/501/T10. No interior lights are CANBUS except for factory fitted footwell lights.
- Number plate lights = W5W/501/T10 (Aren't CANBUS)
- Front and rear indicators = 581 bulbs (LEDs must be CANBUS)
- Reverse light and brake lights = 382 bulbs (LEDs must be CANBUS)

Hi, Polos with the single headlight are a single h4 bulb for dipped/main beam

I'm fitting MTEC's to mine so I will see how they go and let you know, I've also ordered a full set of LEDs for the interior and sidelights and number plates.

Anyone got any tips on doing the interior lights? bit worried I'm going to break something! Haha

Just take your time to pry the units puts, with the front domes work the plastic out from the single map lights first if you know what I mean.

Are there any clips or anything I need to be aware of? Or does it literally just come out if you lever it with a screwdriver?

There are clips but if you do it frm the orientation Ive you they shouldn't snap.

thread revival! But does anyone have the problem of LED's staying slightly lit? If so, how did you sort this?

I used a little suction cup to remove the rear dome lights covers
