FK Grill Recess

Just wondering if anyone has installed the half moon grill recess to fill the gap?

Just wondering as all was provided was 4 screws, 2 different sizes so not sure which to use.

I siliconed one in. Strong enough to hold in but didnt pull the paint off when I removed it ater a couple of months.
