9n3 gti engine into a 9n pd130

Just out of curiosity!! How easy would the 1.8t 150bhp from a 9n3 drop into the 9n chassis? I mean won't the mounts etc be the same from the pd130 engine? Just curious!

What's wrong with the pd130 engine? If nothing spend the money getting more power out of it instead

Noise! Haha. I miss the sound of a petrol with a decent exhaust. Also I can achieve like 210/220 max without spending silly money! Already have hybrid turbo, front mount, and waiting remap.. But after that s**t gets expensive! Haha

Seems a waste of time and effort to me. Just sell up and buy a gti. Would save alot of hassle.

Stupid imo. The pd130 is a very tuneable engine and when both the gti and 130 are modded they easily achieve similar figures. To be honest, I wouldn't want to swap mine for a gti, you get great mpg (a lot more than a gti!), loads of torque and something that will go on to do hundreds of thousands of miles. I would never think of putting a gti engine in it anyways - like others have said, if you want a gti buy one! lol

Was purely out of curiosity, never mentioned I had planned to do this! Just wanted to see if the mounts etc were similar. I thought since both being fairly large capacity engines the base would be pretty much the same and just a different block put in!
