Great looking car!

Where did you get the GTI footrest from?

What is XDS? I've heard a few people say this now but no idea what it does.

Where did you get your VCDS kit from? Was it expensive?

Thanks!

Thanks!!
Footrest from ebay (just type polo footrest it will come up)
XDS is the electronic diff - makes a huge difference how the car feels round corners, adjusting it to 2 increases the strength of how it operates (brakes the inside wheel if slipping)
VCDS cable Full 11.11.3 Version from ebay for £40 and works like a charm!!

Hi there, nice gti, saw that you sold a set of xxr527s, what offset were they and what clearance issues did you encounter?
I'm planning on running them on a blueGT.

The ones i purchased HAD to be the bronze ones as they just looked the bees knees! BUT whilst looking as good as they did on the car the only offset that was in the UK in bronze 17" 5x100 was et25.... there are only two sizes et25 and et35.
With such a low offset and a wide wheel 8.25j you needed some serious stretch, still then you might have to get the arches flared slightly at the front (Rear should be fine) ran the xxr's on 215/40/17 all round and was not nearly enough.
What you need is 195/40/17 falkens (Maybe 205 rear?)

Mine rubbed on the fronts on 205's but then again im not running serious lows to get any probs at the rear.

Pissed off i didnt take any pictures of when i had then on because it looked sooooooo goood!!

Hope this helps

Good luck!!
