Hey folks ill be knocking around on here a lot!
The new beast ^_^ had a mk5 jetta tdi sport previously but didn't really need that size of car to be honest so here we are

Got a few questions? I thought the car would of had dab radio but cant see any functions for dab its a rcd310 fitted . It also has a multifunction steering wheel but the phone part doesn't work either can and my phone doesn't show any Bluetooth devices any info would be awesome.

What year is it? As different years came with different specs.

Yep the phone buton doesn't work I'm afraid and also in 2010 DAB was an option. Try cycling the radio button.

If I bought an rcd510 with dab and phone etc would the button work then or do you need a harness and another ecu to get it working? I used to work at VW but didn't really learn about the coding side of things.

Its ment to be a 60 plate so your probably right I want to add these features especially dab does anyone know how to go about it do I need another head unit for dab or do I just need a aerial? Been looking at rcd510 on eBay...

Aerial and radio are needed in order to receive DAB radio

Next question im thinking about getting a set of compomotive m05's 16" x 7j or 7.5j 35et will these fit ok. I used to have a set similar on my old mazda 323 gtr but they where speedline mags. do you think they will be too heavey on the bluemotion.

I've got a 2012 match and I've put the rcd510 in mine but not the bluetooth phone option.
