Polo TSI Bezel

Hi all.
I have seen the shiny black bezel in the R Line's and the Blue GT polos and wanted to do the same as this in my Polo 1.2 TSI
I currently have the standard VW grey dash.
I have seen how to remove the bezel, my question is, can you just remove, spray gloss black and re attach? or is it more specific than that?
